Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses My FPL Mini-League: hosts, members, and anyone viewing a public league page. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and hosts are additionally bound by the Host Terms.

The Platform is operated by Common Room Ventures Private Limited (CIN U32409KA2026PTC222161), Bengaluru, India.

The short version: run your league, be straight with your members, and do not use our tools to harm, deceive or spam anyone.

1. Content you provide

This covers league names, team and display names you set, uploaded logos and banners, accent colours, message content, and anything else you enter that other people can see.

You must not provide content that:

  • is unlawful where you are, where we are, or where the people seeing it are;

  • harasses, bullies, threatens or demeans anyone, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality;

  • is sexually explicit, or sexualises anyone;

  • promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;

  • impersonates any person or organisation, or misrepresents your connection to one;

  • infringes copyright, trade marks or any other right. Upload only what is yours to use;

  • contains malware, tracking beacons, or anything designed to compromise a device;

  • discloses someone else's private information without their agreement.

1.1 Fantasy Premier League and the Premier League

My FPL Mini-League is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club.

You must not suggest otherwise. Do not use official club or competition badges, marks, or names in a way that implies endorsement, and do not name a league in a way that presents it as an official competition.

1.2 Gambling and prize competitions

You must not use the Platform to run anything that is unlawful where you or your members are. Rules on entry fees and money prizes differ by territory, and in some places such competitions are restricted or prohibited. Determining this is the host's responsibility under the Host Terms §4.3.

You must not use the Platform to operate a betting exchange, bookmaking service, lottery, or any scheme where our tools function as the mechanism for a regulated gambling product.

2. How you treat other people

You must not:

  • publish a league you have no authority over, in order to expose other people's information;

  • claim a team that is not yours. The claim flow asks whether an entry is you; answering dishonestly to take over someone's row is a breach;

  • use the Platform to track, profile or pressure anyone, including former members;

  • contact members for purposes unconnected to the league using contact details or reach obtained through the Platform;

  • evade a block or an opt-out by any means.

3. Messages

Additional rules apply because messages leave our Platform and land on networks with their own requirements.

You must not:

  • send messages unrelated to the league: no third-party advertising, no unrelated products or services, no political or campaigning content;

  • message anyone who has opted out, or who has replied STOP;

  • exceed your plan's messaging allowance, or try to work around it by splitting sends across leagues or accounts;

  • use messaging to distribute content that breaches §1.

Broadcast composition is limited to the formats we provide. This is deliberate. It keeps sends within what the messaging networks permit, and attempting to defeat that restriction is itself a breach.

We may decline to send, or stop, any message that breaches this policy or the rules of the underlying network.

4. Technical use

You must not:

  • access the Platform by automated means (scraping, crawling, or bulk-downloading) other than by search-engine indexing of public pages;

  • harvest data from public league pages, whether manually or automatically, for any purpose other than viewing the league you are looking at. Public league data is published so that a league can see itself, not to build a dataset;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data;

  • probe, scan or test our systems' security without our written permission;

  • interfere with the service: no denial-of-service, no deliberate overloading, no circumventing rate limits;

  • reverse engineer the Platform, except where the law says you may;

  • resell, sublicense or white-label access without our written agreement.

4.1 Reporting a vulnerability

If you find a security problem, tell us at [email protected] before telling anyone else, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it. We will not pursue you for good-faith research that follows this section and does not access, alter or retain other people's data.

5. Accounts

One person, one account. Do not share credentials, do not create accounts on someone else's behalf without their agreement, and do not create a new account to evade a suspension.

You must be 18 or over to hold an account, as set out in the Terms of Service §2. Do not create one for anyone under 18, including your own child, and do not claim a team on someone else's behalf.

An under-18 can still take part in a league without an account. Their team appears in the standings from Fantasy Premier League's public data either way.

6. Enforcement

Where something breaches this policy we may, depending on how serious it is and how quickly it needs handling:

  • remove or hide the content;

  • unpublish a league page;

  • stop or block messages;

  • restrict features on an account;

  • suspend or close an account;

  • report the matter to the relevant authority.

Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right. Where they do not (where someone's data, safety or legal position is at stake) we may act first and explain afterwards.

We do not review content before it is published. That we have not acted on something does not mean we have approved it.

If you think we have acted wrongly, say so at [email protected], or raise it formally under §7. We will look at it again.

7. Reporting a breach

Tell us what you saw, where, and when. If it concerns a public league page, send the link.

Grievances are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, in line with the Information Technology Rules, 2011. Consumer complaints under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 are acknowledged within 48 hours and redressed within one month.

If your report is about your own information appearing on a public league page, you do not need an account and you do not need to go through a host. See Public League Pages and Your Data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Platform before they take effect. The version and effective date are shown at the foot of this page.
